      Services and Fees

      Editing: because there are many levels of editing (copyediting to developmental editing), fees are
      determined after a written sample has been submitted for review. The fees for editing range from
      $.03-$.08 per word, or $7.50-$20.00 per page, based on an average page count of 250 words. A complimentary two-page
      editing sample of an author's work is offered for serious inquiries.

      Rewriting or "Doctoring": $.08-$.10 per word, or $20.00-$25.00 per page, based on an average page count of 250 words.
      A complimentary two-page editing sample of an author's work is offered for serious inquiries.

      Ghost Writing: manuscript development, book content, business literature, corporate histories, memoirs, curricula, academic papers
      and scholarly articles, newsletters, press releases, retirement tributes, web content. Begins at $.35 per word, or $87.50 per page, for
      business content and $.50 per word, or $125.00 per page, for manuscript/academic content.

      Website Editing: begins at $35.00 per page. Fee is determined by the site's complexity, graphics, and links.

      Research or Consultations: $45.00-$75.00 per hour determined by project.

      Book Design: book cover and book interior layout fees vary greatly from project to project. Please ask to see book
      samples representing different tiers of pricing.

      Oral History Interview: $150.00 for one sixty (60) minute interview. Includes preparation of questionnaire, digital recording
      in WAV format, audio editing, creation of audio tracks, labeling, and one master archival-quality gold CD in archival CD case.

      Transcription and Indexing: $125.00 per hour for a loosely transcribed interview (can be used as a foundation for a manuscript);
      $175.00 per hour for a verbatim transcription suitable for repositories; $50 per interview hour for indexing.

      Photo Scanning: $4.00 per photo, includes index and CD of scanned images.

      CD/DVD Presentations: for companies, personal histories, retirements, or ethical wills, $250-$1000 for 15-60 minutes.
